Today, the vibe is wondrously hopeful as the Libra Sun and benefic Jupiter align. It feels like there’s a chance that we can all get along and work together to achieve a shared vision of harmony. Is it blindly optimistic? With the void of course moon having made its last major planetary alignment to Jupiter, maybe. But, still, you have to keep the faith even if it proves to be misplaced. Look to the area of your natal chart where you find the last 10 degrees of Aquarius to uncover where you’re clinging to hope.
You’ll need it this weekend as the sun trips a T-square with disgruntled Eris and domineering Pluto. I wrote about this edgy alignment several days ago and warned that it was the start of several tense touch points to come. It would be foolish to underestimate the volatility of this alignment. You never know what might set someone off. Where you find 25 degrees of Capricorn in your natal chart is where you’ll feel the pressure and be compelled to defend your turf. We’re talking Pluto, lord of the underworld, here. It’s where you’ll drag or be dragged. With Eris onboard, it’s guaranteed that someone feels mistreated, neglected, or left out. Because it takes Eris 558 years to orbit the sun, the slight she feels (and you feel in the area of your natal chart where she resides) is perpetual. It’s the constant thorn in your side. You can reliably look to the house(s) that hold Aries to find where natal and transiting Eris reside. In our time, Eris and Aries are inseparable. If the Aries folks in your life always seem angry about something, this is the reason why. They’re constantly in a battle to be invited into a more inclusive way of life.
Getting back to this weekend - getting along with certain individuals (read: Aries, Libra, Capricorn) won’t be so easy. Sensitive Cancers may bear the brunt. Despite the brief of the Libra Sun (harmony, above all else), it will be challenging to maintain composure. Those who feel that their individuality or independence have been compromised (again, where you find Eris and the latter part of Aries) are bound to stir things up. However, you can’t be a rebel and also be a part of the gang. It’s the never-ending dilemma in the house where Eris lives in your chart. Should trouble arise ask yourself if you’re treating others the way you want to be treated. The Golden Rule never goes out of style.
